Furry Love

Around here, life is just not complete without a little fur. So a couple weeks ago, we adopted these two from a friend of mine. They're a brother and sister and they have managed to effortlessly wiggle their way into our hearts. Without further ado, i'd like to introduce you to:
I'm going to try not to make every post about them (i said i'd try), but if they keep snuggling together like this...
or this:
...it's going to be really really hard!

  1. There is something so adorable about kittens. These are precious!! My mother lives in the country and stray cats are forever having kitten in her yard. I'm in love with them instantly, but since they are wild, they move on. (She has tried having them neutered if she can catch them, but can't afford to do that with every one.)
Franny and Lou are absolutely adorable!

  6. What an adorable pair. I have three cats, and they are usually in my posts. My youngest, Merlin, is my quality control manager while I'm sewing! She inspects everything.

  13. They will continue to cuddle. My oldest daughter who is still at home, has a brother and sister pair she found under our front porch. They cuddle all the time still 2 years later. I post about them a lot over on my blog too. 16muddyfeet.blogspot.com

  14. [Almost] too much cuteness! I tend to be firmly in the dog camp, mostly due to severe allergies in my immediate family. But I don't think anyone could resist that level of adorable! Enjoy!

  15. There is nothing cuter in the whole wide world than kittens. I have a brother and sister tabby pair, Edgar and Stella, along with 2 unrelated older black cats. It is wonderful to adopt siblings as they have instant playmates and are prone to adorable playing and snuggling. They are endlessly entertaining and life would be so boring without my four felines.

  31. Oh please, keep the kitty photos coming. Would love to have a kitten, but our aging (17) Maine Coon would be a little too stressed by it at the moment, so will have to enjoy your sweet kittens through your photos.

  35. Your kittens are so cute! I love having a cat or two. I just read you newsletter and I have to comment on the zucchini theme. The first time I planted zucchini, I made the mistake of planting three plants, for a family of three. We supplied our whole street that summer. If you left your car window open, we would put a zucchini in there! I tried many methods to freeze the excess crop. The one I prefferred was to grate raw zucchini and freeze it. This could be stir fried with garlic and seasonings, added to soups, spagetti sauce or any baked goods (great way to hide veggies from the kids). It's a very prolific plant!
