Sometimes you just have to brave the raindrops and head outside anyway. It's just water, right? With this in mind, I went out at lunchtime to snap some more garden pics and realized something significant in doing so. If you sit in the same spot long enough at a time of day you might not normally be in that spot, you may notice things you've never noticed before. You create a moment for something to become possible...like this bug that flew into the frame at the very moment I pressed the shutter. Try to make more of those moments (I'll try too), and enjoy each one of them!

Three ladies of our garden
I slipped outside in between rain clouds today because I didn't want to miss taking pictures of the three beloved ladies who reside in our garden: Gertrude Jekyll, Betty Corning and Mrs. Cholmondeley
(pronounced, if you can believe it, "Chumley"). They all happen to be blooming simultaneously this year...a sight to behold! The only thing I wish I could also include in this post is the intoxicatingly sweet, citrusy fragrance of good ol' Gertie. If only there were scratch and sniff blogs...
