    The Gift of the Magi by O'Henry. The beautiful Maureen O'Hara starred in the movie adaptation. Beautiful story of sacrificial love.

    Well, at the moment, maybe Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer. As I came in after dark late yesterday, I had to pause at my drive and wait for 8 tiny (rein?rain? reign?) deer to cross and get out of the way. I looked around all over but could find NO evidence that Santa had been.

    I used to love to listen to All Things Considered and hear the story of the Christmas Oranges. I cried every time I heard it. My favorite Christmas movie is Holiday Inn; my favorite made-for-tv movie is The Most Wonderful Time of the Year (very cute).
