Be on the Lookout...

It's nearing the beginning of September which means that Terrain will be shipping soon! Woohoo! This is just a quick post to let you know that if you'd like to learn a little about the inspiration for this collection, i'm guest blogging over at Quilting Arts! I was so happy when Lindsey invited me back and want to thank QA for hosting me. Annnd Lindsey has upped the ante of excitement by adding a Terrain giveaway to the post!

I also got an email this morning from Melanie, who won the GO!baby giveaway. You will all be happy she won when you read her blog post about it. You see, Melanie was so thankful for her good fortune that she would like to pass some of it on to you in the form of...that's right...a Terrain giveaway! It's Melanie's first ever giveaway, so please head over and show her some love!

  3. I've only just started sewing, and so far I've just made a couple of little things (all by hand, as I haven't got a sewing machine!). But I love the Terrain line and I think it might be time to try and make my first ever quilt. Do you know of anyone who'll be importing it to the UK to sell, so I can go and select fabrics in person, or will I have to just go for it and order online?

  6. I am so excited for Terrain! The colors are brilliantly fall-ish to me- my favorite season! :)

I recently (I know, I'm sadly behind the times) fell in love with Fandango, having discovered a fat quarter bundle on Etsy, and made a curtain to cover our unsightly window air conditioning unit!

I originally bought the fabric to fill some embroidery hoops along the wall, and had enough leftovers to piece together an entire curtain- and it is my favorite piece in this tiny little parsonage! :) It makes me smile. (I joined the Flickr group here and posted a pic of it)

Thank you for sharing the beauty in your heart and mind- what if we all did this, and didn't hold it so close and secret? I'm a new seamstress, in this past year, and now I'm so inspired by your designs- can't wait to see what I will make with Terrain- hooray!
