New fabric has arrived! I'm so excited to share this first peek at Cuzco (pronounced Kooz—Koh). More on the inspiration for this collection soon, but for now, spread the wings of your imagination and venture to the mountains and valleys of Peru...

ReplyDeleteLove the new fabric - especially that peacock! Am I right in seeing the peacock feather motif carried through the other patterns?

ReplyDeleteLove the photo of the kitties watching the window-washing -- I can just imagine their furry heads bobbing and weaving as the paper towel moves over the glass!
ReplyDeleteHow did you know!? I only wish i'd taken a video of them...it was like they were watching a tennis match!
DeleteAnother beautiful collection! Love the blues! Can't wait to see it in person!
ReplyDeleteCuzco is wonderful! Can't wait to see some in person!
ReplyDeleteI had to laugh at your kitty pic! My DD has a cat, Rocky, who might well be cousins to your furry friends. From behind, there's no telling a difference! Rocky has personality plus, and is curious beyond belief, so I can totally see him watching the thrilling activity of window washing! lol

ReplyDeleteGorgeous fabrics!!! Wow! Will you be at spring market? I get to go, so I would love to meet you IRL!
ReplyDeleteI'm so excited about the Cuzco. My son's girlfriend was adopted from Cuzco, so this will be very cool for her - I'm thinking matching duffle bag and makeup case. There is nothing that can match the arrival of new Kate Spain fabric - soft, crisp, and colorful. Somehow no other fabrics seem to measure up.
ReplyDeleteI have inherited kitty Fat Samantha from that same son - she is a good buddy but gets bored when I sit sewing too long. SHE IS THE REASON for window washing at our house - paws and nose!!!
Pretty, pretty colors.
ReplyDeleteLove the fabric! The cats are cute too.
ReplyDeleteWhen is this amazing fabric due to come out?
gorgeous!
ReplyDeleteWhat a great sneak! (Were you watching Emperors New Groove at the time?)=D

ReplyDeleteAnother beautiful line! As my son would say, "It's on my wish list!"
ReplyDeleteHi Kate
ReplyDeleteI love the fabric and I just l-o-v-e Cuzco.
The food, the people, the temples, the colour, the history well everything really. I walked in the Andes up to 16.000 feet then joined the Inca Trail - the only way to Machu Picchu through the Sun Gate. Wow....then early morning mist before the tourist trains arrive...sacred spot...so can wait to see the designs....
sitting in the Park in the middle of the square....LOL Susan
Your new fabrics are gorgeous! Those colors are simply dreamy. And the cats are too cute. Great photos. Thanks for the smile! :)
ReplyDeleteGorgeous Kate! I was swooning over it in the little pre-veiw brochure Moda just sent out... yay! New Kate for he shop... of course first we have Serenade and Joy... so exciting :) Hugs!
ReplyDeleteThe fabrics looks like it would also go well with Good Fortune--is that right, or just the computer monitor? Very lovely, as usual.
ReplyDeleteI'm so in love! You've outdone yourself...Again! Can't wait till this is available! Yeah!
ReplyDeleteAmazing fabrics! I LOVE them all!
ReplyDeleteYour kitties are so cute!
Fabulous fabrics!!
ReplyDeleteI really like your Cuzco line. The yellows, red/pink and oranges in the background are gorgeous. Terrain is still one of my very favorite fabrics and I'm thinking Cuzco is going to be right up there.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful colors and patterns,
ReplyDeletewonderful fabrics - the colors are a little less bold than some of your earlier collections - beautiful and a little softer
ReplyDeleteYour stuff gets better and better!

ReplyDeleteShawn M
Perfect timing, I just used up all of my fabric from Terrain and Good Fortune. Needed a Kate Spain fix for sure.
ReplyDeleteThe kitties are so cute. I think they wanted to wash windows.
Oh I love this new line! When you say Cuzco I think of the movie "The Emperors New Groove". Such a cute movie and such a great name for this line of fabric!!!
ReplyDeleteJust when I thought I could take my Terrain and Good Fortune stash and start the quilt, along comes Cuzco. I'll have to wait so I can add some of it to the quilt. Love the colors and the peacock. If I'm not mistaken my local quilt shop will be carrying it.
ReplyDeleteI love the peacock! Oh I can't wait for this one ... wonder if the colors will play well with the Secret Garden fabrics I've been hoarding .... oooooh
ReplyDeleteI LOVE the new fabric! And thanks for letting us know how to pronounce Cuzco so that I don't make an idiot out of myself when requesting it at the quilt shop. ;-)
