Kale (incognito)

All the yummy recipes you have been sending are making me hungry! Thank you so much for sharing them and i'm looking forward to trying them out soon. Don't forget, the drawing is this Friday so if you want to be entered

In the meantime, i'm not sure you're aware of it, but Jocelyn (from FQS) and i have recently forged the Secret Association of Kale Eaters. For your SAKE (get it? heehee), you might think about eating some too. It's really good for you...but doesn't have to taste like it is! After Jocelyn shared this recipe on the Jolly Jabber, i was eager to try it, but was looking for more of a main dish. So...i threw in one extra clove of garlic, cooked the kale until it was done (following recipe), then tossed it into some cooked penne, topped it with grilled lemon-pepper chicken and parmesan cheese. Voila!

  1. yum. I am a Kale lover myself. I made kale potato enchiladas once... now those were good. Usually it goes in soups around here.

  2. I want to like kale, I really do. Looking at your dish - I just might consider lifting my life time ban kale. When I was a kid, I told my mom (who frequently made kale) that when I grow up I will never east kale. Never. And now you make me want to retract that. And knowing you and Jocelyn are in the SAKE... I want to be a jr. member!
