I was so happy to see a streptocarpus on your blog (o: I have a pink and white one. The white one is from a plant from my father. It was almost gone, but with lots of care it has been blooming since May! Such a thankful plant.Simone de Klerkhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14229832556762075177noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3195628004017882302.post-82497656750653533482010-07-20T04:59:35.459-04:002010-07-20T04:59:35.459-04:00Kate,

Sorry about your cat. 17 years is a long time. Your plants that have been passed down are very cool. I have a cactus that once belonged to husband's grandmother. It's really old. And Bar Harbor (not only a great line of Moda fabric!) holds a special place for my husband and I as well. We tried for a long time to have children. With each month that passed and we realized that yet again we were unsuccessful, we were crushed. Well, one summer, after another crushing month of trying, I told my husband that I wanted to just get away. He said where do you want to go? I said let's drive to Maine! Wow, it was fabulous! We stayed at the Bar Harbor Inn right on the water. It was lovely. No lobster ice cream for us, but I think I'd like to try it!

Sorry to rant on, but your post brought back lots of memories.

Hugs & stitches,
JenniferJennifer Blosserhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15429917135092965532noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3195628004017882302.post-61240978181739534872010-07-16T21:59:38.375-04:002010-07-16T21:59:38.375-04:00*waves*
